Cressida Carr is passionate about pattern and colour, so textile design was an obvious career choice after graduating with a first-class honours degree in surface decoration.

I’m an illustrator, surface designer and educator based in Atlanta, GA. I live with my boyfriend and our three rescue kitties, who very often make it into my art, especially the two black cats.
I feel very comfortable creating art for kids, because I'm really a kid at heart. I love cute animals and bright colors. I find it particularly satisfying to distill complex concepts into simple shapes that are stylized but easily recognizable.

I’m a freelance textile, surface designer, illustrator, author and artist based in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, and I love what I do! I have a degree in textile design but have always painted and sketched even from a little girl.

My name is Julie, and I’m [X] years old. I live far enough from Montréal, Canada to have wild bunnies in my backyard, but close enough to go to museums. I’m married to a loving and caring geek who makes wonderful coffee lattes.
I loooooove science and space, always was the artsy one in science and the science-y one in arts at school. I follow James-Webb as much as the weathercast news!

Markéta is a surface pattern designer based in Zürich. Her passion is creating charming patterns and illustrations with a touch of magic. From an incredibly early age, her parents encouraged her to draw and paint with watercolors. Her mother showed and taught her various textile crafting techniques like embroidery, bobbin lace, and sewing. Her father, on the other hand, could draw anything she asked for without looking at a reference. It felt natural to her to choose a creative path.

Hi there! I am Meghan from Kansas, where I am a mom and an artist. I have a degree in Visual Communication and I was a graphic designer in a marketing agency for over 6 years. I started my studio Lathe & Quill in 2017 to embrace my eclectic curiosity. Since then I have found a love of drawing animals, dinosaurs, flowers, and space themes; and transforming the illustrations into detailed patterns.
