About the Designer - Cressida Carr

Cressida Carr is passionate about pattern and colour, so textile design was an obvious career choice after graduating with a first-class honours degree in surface decoration.

After almost twenty years working in London studios, she now works from her studio in the UK’s beautiful New Forest where she finds particular inspiration from the local flora and fauna. Cressida lives in a pretty cottage with her husband and two beautiful ragdoll cats and when she’s not drawing and designing she loves to garden.

Cressida’s clients include Laura Ashley, Gap, Pumpkin Patch, Marks and Spencer, Peacocks, Primark, Sainsbury’s, Mothercare, Harrods, Debenhams and Zutano.
