A Super Jumptastic Princess Awesome Book Club Pick!

by Diana Peterfreund April 19, 2018 1 min read

Learning to appreciate others' talents, perspectives, and differences is one of the major transitions from seeing as a child toward seeing as an adult. In Magnolia Mudd and the Super Jumptastic Launcher Deluxe, Magnolia is a curious, enthusiastic tinkerer who loves spending time with her Uncle Jaime, a like-minded engineer.

When Uncle Jaime introduces Magnolia to his fiancee and the wedding planning begins, Magnolia feels left out and rejected. She views herself as a scientist, and doesn't think science and math have a place in wedding planning. But Emily, Magnolia's future aunt, surprises Magnolia by helping her find a way to include and even celebrate her STEM interests - by inventing an awesome stomp rocket that transforms the traditional bouquet-tossing ritual into an amazing bouquet launch.
